Want your friends to be able to send you SMS to your phone or your email?

The easiest way to receive SMS messages from your friends is to have them send the message to one of our gateway numbers.

In order to do so you first need to configure your SMS account.

1. Make sure you have positive account balance. To purchase credits click on the "Purchase Credits" link in your account.
2. Register SMS phones of all friends that will send you messages
3. In your address book create an entry for you. Make sure that you enter email address and/or your SMS number where you want messages to be delivered. Also, do not forget to enter a short nickname (for example "aa") for you.

Then, tell your friends to compose SMS messages similar to:

e aa This is great!!!. ipipi.com lets you receive my SMS although you don't have a cell phone.   and send them to our gateway number

What is "e"?

"e" is a command that tells our servers to initiate email and to send it to the email address referenced by the nickname.

What is "aa"?

"aa" is nickname for the entry you created for yourself in your address book. Since aa references you, you will receive the message.

How do your friends send SMS to your phone?

Simply ask your friends to replace "e" with "s".
